The national weather service is warning: Today there will be 70 miles
per hour winds blowing from the south.
We have had severe cold and then the warmest winter day yesterday. But
70 mph winds are headed this way today so tie down the sleds and
This strong wind is just a tiny thing when compared to Supervisor Jim
Burton's tirades about global warming and hybrid car welfare programs.
*****STERLING AGLOW-- SEEN BY WORLD
*****MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
It is great seeing all of you in the food stores or in the toy stores.
And looking at the lights.
It seems the whole world is visiting Sterling these days. Long lines of
visitors from all over arrive on Juniper Avenue (one block east of
Sterling Blvd.)and the neighborhood has spread beyond the normal show of
support for Christmas. Drive slowly on Juniper when YOU visit.
And all over Sterling there are generous examples of nativity scenes and
more lights. So thanks to all of you for working hard at this season.
*****CHURCH ROAD HAS CHANGED FOREVER
When you approach Church Road at Route 28, drive carefully. The road has
changed forever. There is a new intersection that lifts you up and over
the Route 28 highway and there is no waiting to travel east or west,
north or south. It took $49 million and now you have your new overpass.
At a ceremony, I thanked all the workers for keeping to a quick schedule
and VDOT and Supervisors and Delegates for cooperating. Now you, dear
Sterling American, get to shave 20 minutes off of your schedule whenever
you plan driving and using Church Road. See article:
*****THOUSANDS FED SATURDAY
LINK feeds thousands: Early reports are that the LINK Christmas program
served 475 needy families (about 2,000 people) Saturday from 7:30 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Thank you to the 17 churches from all over the Sterling area
that staffed and thank you to the BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA for collecting
the food. Sterling's Mark Gunderman pushed and pushed for months.

*****LOUDOUN EDUCATION SYSTEM CORRECTED BY DELGAUDIO ACTION
The former California Assembly Education Chairman has publicly issued a
statement of support for Supervisor Delgaudio's inquiries into the
pro-homosexual propaganda "anti-bullying program" being used in the
Loudoun Public School system.
Talking to reporters and editors this week, the Hon. Steve Baldwin says
(he now lives in Leesburg),
[WINDOWS-1252?]"I read with great interest the article about Supervisor’s Delgaudio’s
effort to stop any school sponsored program that attempts to normalize
homosexuality. Apparently, as of now, it is within the context of an
[WINDOWS-1252?]“anti-bullying†survey that was sent home to some students."
*****BALDWIN SAYS "TIP OF ICEBERG"
Former Education Chairman Baldwin continued "But that could very well be
the tip of an iceberg and I know there are organized groups here in
Virginia that are pushing for more. As a former California legislator
and former chairmen of the California Assembly Education Committee, I
know first hand how the homosexual movement works within a school system
to advance their agenda."
*****IT STARTED WITH SURVEYS IN CALIFORNIA
Baldwin, a former State Assemblyman, further said "In California, they
[WINDOWS-1252?]also sent surveys out in an effort to portray homosexuals as “victimsâ€.
Then, citing a need to protect homosexual students, various
non-profits contract (ed) with school districts to carry out
[WINDOWS-1252?]“anti-bullying†programs. After that, groups of homosexuals within the
school system then lobb(ied) school boards to allow much more leniency
[WINDOWS-1252?]for teachers who want to “discuss†homosexuality and to present
literature that features homosexuals."

It is the end of the year. You need a better tax deduction. I have told
you how Target Stores threw the Salvation Army out. (I was buying last
night but could not go into Target and did not go into Target).
The Loudoun County Salvation Army is short ten thousand dollars right
now to feed, cloth and shelter poor people who need Christian assistance
in a non-denominational manner. We can not do this ourselves but need
the people associated with this mission to get support to accomplish the
