Video: Clearly Recognizable Sterling High Up Thug Identified

Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office have released video surveillance of the February 11th armed robbery at the High-Up Food Mart located in the 400 block of Enterprise Street in Sterling, VA.

In the video, the suspect enters the store shortly before 9:30PM Wednesday, brandished a firearm, and demanded cash. The suspect is seen jumping over the counter and grabbing money from the cash register.

A few moments later, the cashier and a customer intervene and a physical altercation ensues. After a brief struggle, the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was seriously injured during the course of the robbery.

The suspect, described as a Black male, was wearing a red jacket, blue jeans, a black stocking cap and purple gloves. The suspect was concealing his face with a blue bandana. The firearm was recovered at the scene.
