VDOT SAYS THEY ARE PLOW READY

The Virginia Department of Transportation's neighborhood-plowing website, plow-tracking technology, and expanded on-road monitoring are among the tools the agency will use this winter in northern Virginia.

Neighborhood plowing status: For the third year, when it snows more than two inches, residents of Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William can enter their address at www.vdotplows.org to see whether plowing is underway, completed or not yet started in their neighborhood. They can also track the location of plows in relationship to their house. The site is refreshed every five minutes

LINK seeks organizations to help now.

What does it take to provide 3,700 individuals food for 3 - 5 days, warm clothing and new toys to bring Christmas joy to needy children? In the next few weeks, LINK will need more than 60,000 pounds of food, 2,000 gently used coats, and 4,000 new toys. It is a huge goal, but one I know we can meet and possibly exceed with 1,000 volunteers and the generous donations from our wonderful Loudoun and Fairfax community organizations.

LINK is scheduled to distribute food and coats on Saturday November 21, 2015.

On Saturday December 19th, LINK will distribute food and new toys for children newborn age through 16 years of age.

Myth About Supervisor Eugene Delgaudio

My opponent told newcomers to Sterling: Supervisor Delgaudiohas been in office 25 years. One liberal wrote me and claimed I was in office "for 40 years".

Truth:

Great honor for me to serve 16 years in a very diverse minority majority district, first elected 1999, serving 2000 to Dec. 31, 2015.
