DELGAUDIO PLAYS BASKETBALL ON NATIONAL TV

BLAST FROM THE PAST - 1969

ATTACKING TODAY'S LIBERALS FULL TILT

My first full scale major news media event was August 19, 1969. I open with this report
Monday at my 18th annual appearance at Christendom College when I lecture again this
Monday at 1 p.m. in their St. Thomas Acquinas Hall.

SHORT VERSION OF HOW DELGAUDIO PLAYED
BASKETBALL ON NATIONAL TELEVISION NETWORKS

"For hours at the United Nation's plaza, we staged our Victory in Vietnam program.

We presented the list of American soldiers and civilians killed by the Communist
Viet Cong. I charged their leader, our star, Ho Chi Minh in mock trial, voted his guilt and then
hung an effigy of our star "Ho" (he had an actual NBA basketball for his head).

There were few people and no news cameras.

Our entire production crew of teenage young conservatives left the UN Plaza
and arrived at Manhattan's Central Park Bandshell at 1:30 p.m. We spotted the national
TV news crews on a large platform.

There were 5,000 leftists who graciously parted like the red sea parted for Moses as I played
"street beat A" on a snare drum and we marched through the large crowd to the Bandshell.

God granted us the special favor of an actual struggle over control of the
podium the exact moment of our arrival between the Black Panthers and the
leftist SDS. So there was no leftist leader to call us out.

Undercover police immediately surrounded us to protect us.

We arrived at the front of the crowd and we performed our full production in
10 minutes. The news cameras recorded and broadcast live our entire
ten minute production including the mock execution of "Ho."

I will tell you in my next Sterling American email what happened next.

I will break here but this is Part I of "Delgaudio Plays NBA basketball on national
network television".
