BOARD MEETS MONDAY SEPT. 16

I have introduced two Board resolutions for Monday's Sept. 16 meeting of the Board of Supervisors. I am proposing that the Board adopt a position on the Sales Tax Referendum. The county staff has posted information about the referendum on the county web site and ciculated materials to the staff and for the public. So where does this board stand? I say it is for the tax but does not want to remind any citizens.

The 2nd resolution would set up quidelines for staff to follow when setting up meetings at great expense with non-citizens from outside of Loudoun County or visiting delegations from other states.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT.

I will be at Rolling Ridge Elementary School at 6:15 p.m. Thursday night to greet parents. I need to have some company so would you consider joining me. Please join me or my regular volunteers Margi or Donny in handing out special surveys. Thank you.

Rolling Ridge Elementary School is located on East Frederick Drive, east of Sterling Boulevard and next to Briar Patch Park.

If you can help me with this for just an hour, it would be a great thing.
