Happy Halloween

October 30, 2002

The First Annual Tim Page Memorial Golf Tournament was a fantastic success with a large amount of money raised. First place winner was Superior Pest Management with Second place going to Superior Home Inspection. They received a nice silver trophy. A small gold colored plastic cup was awarded to Phylis Stakem for "low achievers award" (last place). Thank you to the 150 community leaders, business vips and elected leaders for pitching in.

A Big Thank You

Its been a few days, but it is still a big relief to have the sniper caught. A big thanks to Sheriff Simpson and all the deputies for working day and night to be ready over that entire time period.

Board Hearings and Meeting

The Board of Supervisors (BOS) will have a hearing on their proposed forced downzoning and density packing of Eastern Loudoun on Saturday at 9 a.m. and again on Wednesday, the day after the elections at 3 p.m. and again at 6 p.m.

The BOS will meet on Monday at 9 a.m. with their "regular" monthly public hearing at 6 p.m. on Monday.

FRIDAY, FRIDAY, FRIDAY

I will be distributing a special Citizens Survey and need your help in getting it to as many people as possible. I will be working on this Thursday and Friday due to the Board meeting schedule. Can you assist me for 2 or 3 hours?

I will pay for breakfast at the Chic Filet Restaurant at 9 a.m. on Friday, November 1st if you can meet me. I will return to treat you to lunch at 12 noon, if you can not meet me at 9 a.m. Of course if you can join me for breakfast and lunch that would be okay also.

I hope you can join me Friday in distributing this pre-election Citizen Survey. It has already been warmly received so far.

LET ME KNOW, at 703-421-4599 if you can join me. Thank you.

TUESDAY is ELECTION DAY.

I will be at the Rolling Ridge Elementary School from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5th, greeting voters. I hope you can join me on that day to vote or to say hello. If you can, consider spending two hours helping me. Thanks.
