Happy Fathers Day

June 18, 2006

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all fathers. Let's say a prayer of thanks for all
fathers wherever they are. Thank you.

>>> CONGRATULATIONS TO PARK VIEW HS GRADs

To all the 281 graduating seniors and the thousands of parents, siblings
and neighbors who turned out to honor them: congratulations on getting a
high school diploma. I attended the ceremonies at Patriot Center (also
the name of the teams for Park View!).

I also helped to celebrate all night at Park View HS for the all night
graduation party. Thank you to the many donors who helped with money,
food and other supplies and to all the parents who stayed up all night.

>>>> GREENVEST GIVES $5,000

Greenvest's Packie Crown delivered a check for $5,000 to the Sully
Parent Teacher organization last week to help with their Science
Playground. This brings to $94,000 the amount raised towards a $130,000
goal. If you can, please write a check for $5,000, $3,000 or $1000 or
any amount and get it to Valerie or Peter at the Sully PTO. Thank you.

Thank you to the firm of Miller-Smith for scheduling and considering a
significant pledge. More on that later.

Here are photos from Packie Crown Donation posted on Sully PTO website

>>>LIBERAL DOWNZONING ZEALOTS

Liberals screamed loud when I chaired the public sessions of the rural
down zoning public hearing. They wanted one of their down zoning friends
to chair the meeting.

For the first part of that hearing, Scott York and Bruce Tulloch (Chair
and vice-chair, respectively) were absent. As chairman of the Finance
committee, I was next in line to chair the meeting.

Seeing a large crowd anxious for opposing causes, I ruled that the 10
p.m. adjournment would be extended "until all citizens had spoken" and
gave an additional minute to each citizen for a total of three minutes.

Some liberals were still not happy (Bob Lazaro) but most immediately
appreciated my action. The rest of the board supported the idea and
agreed to the extra time. The citizens had extra time and we were there
to 11:30 p.m. at night. Don't expect to read any of this in the liberal
media: "conservative grants liberals more time to speak".

>>> LIBERALS REFUSE TO WRITE PERSONAL CHECKS

Some liberals are generous and kind to many causes. But liberals in
Western Loudoun think they are being generous when they get TAX
DEDUCTIONs, credits, write-offs, reduced property taxes due to
Agricultural zoning for 2 pigs or one goat, federal historical district
income tax incentives totaling millions of dollars per person.

This kind of generosity would bankrupt most nations in the world and is
causing a $100,000,000 ($100 MILLION) subsidy from Eastern Loudoun
taxpayers to fund the subsidy to Western Loudoun each year.

>>> SOME LIBERALS BELIEVE IN "THE CAUSE"

It is possible that liberals who benefit from these subsidies mistakenly
believe they are "helping" the world by paying less in taxes than you
are living in your townhouse. Most liberals know full well they are
profiting at your expense, to pay for their "cause" (read: personal
comfort).

These same liberals cry out that you should be happy to pay more for the
government you are getting while they get to pay a fraction of the
property tax you are paying right now.

In fact, the same liberals scream at the top of their lungs that it is
YOU that causes the high cost of government.

>>> EASTERN LOUDOUN PAYS FULL FREIGHT

This same Loudoun welfare class of liberals claim Eastern Loudoun does
not pay for government services.

Yet, Finance Committee documents and county reports show 98 per cent of
the tax monies are collected in Eastern Loudoun (commercial and
residential figures).

>>> TAXPAYER PAID FOR VIEW SHED

Another example: an old scone of a Middleburg man who received a large
portion of the $8 million in Purchase of Development funds from the
county taxpayers came in last week to protest someone, a neighbor,
attempting to get out of the Agriculture District so that they could pay
full price for their land value. I voted "yes", other supervisors voted
"no" to allowing the applicant to pay full price on his property taxes.

>>> DELGAUDIO ASKS FOR MONEY

I wrote a letter asking some friends of RINO (Republican in Name Only)
Jim Rich to take my name off a ballot for local party office. In the
letter I outlined my plans for re-election as a Supervisor, defended
lower taxes, attacked liberal boondoggles, and promised to fight schemes
to increase subsidies to liberals, and cited a $200,000.00 campaign budget.

Nothing offends liberals more when you tell them that their taxpayer
subsidies, and welfare checks are threatened. The response from liberals
proved they are RINOs in every manner: zero (0) endorsements and zero
(0) checks.

>>> LOUDOUN LIBERALS LIKE YOUR MONEY

This is what Loudoun liberals like to hear: "I promise to keep your tax
subsides, land welfare checks, write-offs in force so that you pay very
little or no taxes." I promise the opposite, to cut them off.

>>> THERE ARE LIBERALS AND THEN THE REST OF YOU

This goes to show you that we all have a big job ahead of us. Loudoun
Liberals have have hold of your wallet and do not want to let it go.

They will do anything to keep the welfare checks coming.

There is a way to fight them. But it will make liberals more angry if
you do this.

>>> WRITE THE CHECK AND MAKE IT BIG

There is a deadline of June 30 coming up. It is the end of the current
reporting period and a report will be filed July 15 to show anyone who
gives over $100. Make as large a check as possible payable to "Friends
of Delgaudio" and mail it before June 30 to Friends of Delgaudio, P.O.
Box 1222, Sterling Va. 20164. (did I mention: I will report any
donations over $100). Thank you.
