STERLINGFEST THIS SATURDAY:
Please join me this Saturday at Sterlingfest in downtown Sterling. The event starts at 10 am and goes to 2 p.m. I will be at (booth space number one)table number one along with other Republican candidates. I will be blowing up thousands of Orange Delgaudio balloons and for Delegate Richard Black. I need your help with this. This is not heavy lifting so I don't want to hear any whining. Children get the balloons, but I will allow some adults, who volunteer, to have some, too. . So if you are fun loving, join me for two hours, or four hours on Saturday, October 9. (for you early birds, I will get there 9 a.m.)

NEWS COVERAGE OF VDOT YARD INVASION
The Television News segment dealt favorably, but Leesburg Today twisted the story to make it look like I was protesting signs in the middle of the road, as opposed to objecting to signs in the private yards of homes 30 to 40 feet from the road. Loudoun Easterner accurately reported every detail on page four, and even got the jokes right, publishing "(Delgaudio) added that the signs were taken from areas of lawns also containing decorative rocks and, at one, a statue of a boy fishing. This was not removed, he continued."

Now is the time to write letters to the Leesburg Today and Loudoun Easterner (use your own words):

"I support Supervisor candidate Eugene Delgaudio's call for stopping the Virginia Department of Transporation trucks from invading the private yards of homes along Sterling Boulevard in Sterling District, Loudoun County. This is an outrage and a violation of the property and civil rights of these citizens. Leave Republican signs alone on Sterling Blvd. There should be a public apology to the people of Sterling District. Just because homeowners are near a main road does not mean they don't have rights. Sincerely, XXX, phone and e-mail"

Please fax or e-mail me a copy of any supportive message to the media. Remember, the other side has been attacking our signs daily and they are going to be sending critical letters supporting the right of VDOT to go onto private property and trample our freedom of expression, as crazy as that sounds. You are not just protecting Republican signs, but also drawing a line that no future candidate or homeowner has to suffer this type of harrassment. Liberals are lazy and love the government doing in broad day light what some of them have been doing in the middle of the night.

BLACK ON TV
Finally, for those of you still watching television (and not always on the Internet which provides you frequent communication from Delgaudio HQ.), Delegate Dick Black's television advertisements will begin on Loudoun Cable this weekend, on all cable channels in Loudoun. You will love the pitch.

Sincerely,

EUGENE DELGAUDIO
YOUR OFFICIAL REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE

P.S. Some of you have asked about Tim Powers in Broad Run. Tim Powers is not a Republican candidate, no matter how many times you see or hear his promotions. Bruce Tulloch is the official Republican candidate and please support Bruce. Friends of Delgaudio is supporting various GOP candidates all over the county. John Beuler, a former Supervisor candidate publicly hailed our efforts to help build a GOP team in front of a large GOP crowd and news reporters. John joins former Governor George Allen and others in recognizing the good works of you and me, working together.
