Teen and Adult Job Fair Now Set

Us older Folk have their job fair to go to now.

Congressman Frank Wolf (R-Va) will be hosting a job fair on Thursday, May 7. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Loudoun County Public Schools Administration Building at 21000 Education Court in Ashburn

And Sterling is having a Sterling Teen Job Fair for teens and young people from Sterling and Loudoun.

The Teen Job Fair will be held on Saturday May 2, from 1-3 p.m. in the Sterling Community Center, located at 120 Enterprise Street, Sterling.

Do you have a teen to send. There is a limit of 250 teens at a time, so lets make sure we have him or her on board.

17 companies, (  small business owners and county agencies) are coming and there is limited space.

There is some new developments besides the community center being filled up with applicants and companies seeking to hire Sterling teenagers.

My staff and volunteers have developed a lawn mower exchange for home owners who want to hire Sterling teens who want to cut grass and teens who want to cut grass for Sterling homeowners.

My planning commissioner Helena Syska along with other county workers will assist in the writing of resumes and filling out applications for jobs.

There will be drinks and snacks for all at the Sterling Teen Job Fair also.



Thank you to my staff Lauren, Rachel, and Kathy for helping and mailing owners and thank you to the 17 companies and county workers coming to host tables. I will release a list once we have a full roster.
