JOIN ME 830 AM THURSDAY AT BUFFALO WINGS

September 22, 2010

Dear Sterling American,

The board of supervisors met yesterday all day and a large part of the meeting was spent debating the Chesapeake Bay Act.

After most of the 100 speakers Monday night condemned the Ches. Bay Act, some supervisors continued to decry the "lack of understanding by the citizens".

I disagree as most of the opposition came from poor farmers, homeowners, businessmen, and a wide spectrum of Loudoun citizens who cited the legislation and how it destroyed their properties or would cost them $5,000, $10,000 or one million dollars per specific example for their respective properties.

The board voted five yes, four no to send the Ches. Bay Act to a committee for further work with a deadline to come back "by the end of the year".

MINORITY LEADER JOHN BOEHNER VISITS STERLING

The Republican leadership of the House of Representatives will reveal their new platform at 10 A.M. at TART LUMBER on Shaw Road in Sterling. TART is located at Route 28 and Church Road. It is a private event and the public is not allowed.

This is entirely normal. TART is a "small" hardware store and can easily accomodate a group of Congressmen and the 100 or so members of the national news media. This is an honor for Sterling and I am expecting only a handful to stand as wellwishers with me.

JOIN ME AND WELCOME THEM

Along with a welcome committee who will greet the arrival with signs "New Majority, Welcome To Sterling". Meet me at 8:30 AM at Davis and Church Road, in the parking lot of the Buffalo Wings Factory, another Sterling landmark.

Buffalo Wings is visible from Church Road.

We will walk to the edge of the TART Lumber and join others in welcoming the arrival of the Republican leadership to Sterling.

Email me back "I will join you at Buffalo Wgs 830 AM" if you can come.
