I attended the Scouts, and briefed young Lego Reseach team members on blizzard preparation and welcomed- along with Sheriff Chapman- a standing room only meeting of citizens at the Sterling Sheriff's station. Thank you to those of you who turned out to hear the sheriff's briefing.

County Planning Commission Wary Of Housing Push
But some leaders want more density in Sterling

Expressions of opposition to "more housing" are being heard in recent meetings.
See the news clip stating it with direct quotes below. But some are for it!

Previously I have told you the "county staff" is recommending opposition to
a proposal for dense housing at one location.

If you oppose higher density for housing in Sterling than the current plan (Sterling
has a mix of townhouses, single family houses and attached multi-family houses) than
write the planning commission and board of supervisors.

Tell them "I oppose higher density in Sterling".

To express your opinion to the Planning Commission write this email address (all nine planning commissioners will get the opinion):[email protected]

To express your opinion to the board of supervisors who will get the proposal IF the Planning Commission acts and sends it to the board, write [email protected] to reach all nine supervisors.
