Santa Claus will leave the Dulles Town Mall Christmas evening and his route around the world is being monitored by our NORAD space command. (giant website with new sections)

Supervisor Delgaudio walked Santa Claus out of the Leesburg GovernmentBuilding after his historic visit to warn the Board of Supervisors toleave the lights on for Christmas and to also leave all of Loudoun'sLights alone.

Thank you to Santa for appearing at the Sterling Volunteer Fire Department and elsewhere in recent days. I have also been making my rounds in recent weeks to wish all Holiday greetings and Merry Christmas.

Churches are packed Christmas eve, and at midnight and in the morning too. Stores are closed for the most part (thank you).

Great weather is predicted for Christmas Day.

CHRISTMAS AND OTHER HOLIDAY DISPLAYS AT COURTHOUSE

As some of you know, Sterling and Loudoun have been the scene of battles for religious liberty over the years. As supervisor I had to fight to preserve Christmas it self from the actual self proclaimed forces of darkness (AKA Dark Sky Association) as the board, in 2002, considered a CURFEW on all lights during Christmas. (NO KIDDING).

Then there was the threat by leftists to eliminate religious liberty itself at our Leesburg Courthouse.

Over several years I led the effort to defend the right of honoring (not desecrating as some did at the Courthouse) and today -- now two years-- Sterling and Loudoun enjoys the permanent

victory over those who would silence us.
